Job Description |
|
|
- Building up a knowledge base (including some quantitative data and indicators) on the social protection floor in the world, by identifying and documenting key experiences in key countries.
- Developing the knowledge sharing electronic (web-based) platform for the SPF (GESS Global extension of social security).
- Participating in further development of a the ILO quantitative knowledge base on existing social security programmes (the ILO inquiry security database and the related indicators) and of other complementary analytical tools and methods of direct use for the implementation of the social protection floor (SPF rapid assessment tool, system of SPF indicators, etc.);
- Developing a comprehensive tool kit for the SPF.

Qualifications:
- University degree (masters level) in economics, statistics, actuarial science, development economics, or degree from a management or business school/graduate school of social sciences.
- Educational/university or professional experiences abroad would be a plus.
- Preferably 2 years of relevant experience.
- Excellent spoken and written English and French; knowledge of Spanish would be a plus.
- Ability to work independently and plan complex activities;
- Good listening and dialogue skills, ability to have talks and deal with populations in varied social environments in various countries in Asia;
- Ability to work in a team, share ideas and resolve challenges, as well as initiative;
- Appreciation of establishing partnerships;
