Job Description |
|
|
- Reporting to the Head of Development, the Development Manager is responsible for
building the fundraising capacity of the State by maintaining and developing relationships with key stakeholders such as committee members, companies, employees, individuals, foundations, families and friends of people with type 1 diabetes, and volunteers.
- The Development Manager is, with the support of a Development Coordinator NSW and Development Officer ACT, responsible for the State based development and delivery of JDRF campaigns, events and programs such as the Walk to Cure Diabetes, Ride to Cure Diabetes, Jelly Baby month, Gala Ball, Community Fundraising and Golf Day.

Qualifications:
- 3-5 years experience in business development, account management and
income generation.
- Proven relationship development and maintenance skills at all levels, particularly
with senior managers and executives.
- Outstanding communication skills across a range of stakeholders including senior
executives, government, children, young adults and families.
- Proven experience in executing fundraising campaigns and comparable events to
achieve income targets.
