Job Description |
|
|
- Develop and manage the implementation of online campaigns including exploring the potential of new digital trends and technologies.
- Take overall responsibility for online content production and quality control ensuring the website is always current and relevant
- Take overall responsibility for recruitment and development of online (new and existing) supporters/activists.
- Ensure the maintenance/implementation and smooth operation of online communications systems.
- Ensuring consistency and integration with all Greenpeace communications.
- Take responsibility for meeting Fund Raising targets for the department.
- Develop new ways to fund raise online.
- Take direct line management of staff and manage the team in an effective and co-ordinated manner.
- Co-ordinate and plan with other teams, departments and other Greenpeace offices.
Manage the budget of the Digital Media team. |

Qualifications :
- A minimum of two years experience managing a news website, community site, portal, blog or managing online campaigns for a business or NGO.
- Experience in planning, producing and evaluating web site content.
- Substantial experience in HTML, CSS and web publishing software.
- An understanding of strategic and tactical communications.
- Project management experience and an ability to plan, organise and prioritise workloads.
- Excellent written and spoken communications skills, especially English.
- Ability to multi-task and work under pressure.
