Job Description |
|
|
- The post-holder will be responsible for the design, implementation and monitoring of financial accounting, administration systems and controls for the Haiti emergency programme.
- Key responsibilities include compiling and producing financial reports, information and analyses to Haiti staff, the UK secretariat and donors, managing cash flow and ensuring thorough and effective budgetary control is undertaken in the Haiti programme.
- The post holder will also be responsible for oversight of the other support functions of HR, Administration and Logistics, and the line management of the managers of each of these departments.

Qualifications:
- The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant, with substantial experience of managing and leading finance departments of International NGOs.
- You will have a proven track record of providing support, guidance and training to financial and non-financial managers.
- You will have substantial experience of producing and interpreting management accounts, and reviewing and developing financial procedures, as well as in-depth knowledge and experience of working with international donors.
- Experience of leading or coordinating multiple functions is essential and knowledge of HR or Logistics would be a huge advantage.
- The ability to communicate effectively in French and English is required for this role.
