• Prepare various month end journal entries and update reports.
  
• Perform bank reconciliations.
  
• Reconcile various account balances.
  
• Prepare monthly GST/HST returns.
  
• Provide general office support functions.
  
• Provide support to the Controller.
  
• Support other Red Cross initiatives, as needed, to provide for a coordinated team effort to meet the needs of the vulnerable in our communities.

Qualifications :

• Completion of or current enrolment in an accounting program with one to three years of work-related experience, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
  
• Ability to prioritize and organize multiple issues simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  
• Ability to work independently.
  
• Strong communication skills in English are essential. Fluency in French is a definite asset.
  
• Demonstrated computer proficiency and experience with Excel; experience with Accpac and Insight reporting is considered an asset.
  
• A clear Criminal Record Check is required.
