Job Description |
|
|
- Respond to emails / letters from internal / external customers
- Managing and ensuring secure storage of Exam materials - maintain documents, reports and log books accurately
- Support Pre test / marketing logistics – confirming Venues, Trainers / Examiners, managing payments and providing support for smooth administration of exams / training programmes
- First level co-ordination between vendors/customers.
- Creation of vendors and Invoices to be sent to agents and followed up to ensure closure Processing purchase orders and claims for venues, service providers and venue staff as required and as per financial guidelines
- Monitoring and management – Marketing material stock, Contact database and Partnership programme for IELTS. Partnership benefits to be rolled out and tracked on a quarterly basis
Programme of in-house promotional events/materials display for IELTS is produced, agreed with marketing Manager and delivered as per plan
- Delivery of exams in centres across South India as per corporate standards and those set by the Board

Qualifications: - Marketing & Customer Service (all responsibilities – level 1)
- Communications Skills (all responsibilities – level 2)
- Computer Skills (all responsibilities – level 1)
- Experience in marketing / customer service.
- Graduate qualification
- First degree in any discipline
- Communications skills are what make us effective in sharing ideas, thoughts, information and feelings with diverse internal and external audiences, often in cross-cultural situations, in order to develop two-way understanding between the audience and the communicator.
- Able to produce summaries of complex documents for a specific audience
Writes business documents clearly and effectively using standard British Council formats where available (e.g. reports PowerPoint, web, etc.)
- Able to manage documents through several drafts with various contributors
- Reports disagreement with sensitivity and even-handedness
Understands and applies plain English guidelines
- Makes balanced and effective contribution in difficult situations e.g. conflicts between staff members.
- Communicates ideas clearly, effectively, persuasively to an individual or a group
Varies speaking style according to audience
- States different and/or critical opinions without causing offence
