Job Description |

|
- The Grants Manager is a dynamic and evolving role; responsible for leading Christian Childrens Fund of Canada’s (CCFC’s) efforts in acquiring grant funding for child-focused community development projects from international development funding agencies through research, networking and competitive proposal development.
- Reporting to the Vice President of Global Operations, the Grants Manager will carry forward CCFC’s new grants strategy, providing leadership and support to colleagues and partner staff in eight countries in order to achieve its goals. The Grants Manager will continue to develop relationships with the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA) as well as other funders and partners globally through coordinated efforts with ChildFund Alliance counterparts.

Qualifications:
- The successful candidate will possess a relevant university degree and a post-graduate degree in international development is considered an asset.
- A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in international development is required, including substantial grant fundraising and project management; together with professional expertise and knowledge in CCFC’s areas of development assistance.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills are essential - including the ability to network, collaborate, build relationships (internally and externally) and negotiate effectively.
- Fluency in French and/or Spanish is an asset as well as a demonstrated commitment to CCFC’s Vision, Mission and Values. There will also be travel opportunities nationally and internationally as required.
