• Conduct an opportunity analysis to identify potential grant growth areas and PIA strategic advantage, competition and potential partners
  
• Develop key strategy and investment recommendations to double grant income and diversify the portfolio
  
• Determine the key programming and operational risks and opportunities to the organisation in implementing the strategy recommendations.
  

• Tertiary qualifications in social sciences, business or similar
  
• Post-graduate qualification (MA or MBA) preferred.
  
• Significant business development/grant development experience (5 years)
  
• Strong knowledge of Australian government and other international development agencies and foundations
  
• Significant strategy development experience
  
• Strong understanding of the aid and development sector
  
• Experience in working with International Non-Government Organisation’s 
  
• Excellent analytical skills
  
• Strong facilitation, communication and report writing skills
  
• Strong Microsoft Office skills.
  
• Mature outlook and ability to work independently
  
• High level interpersonal skills
  
• Collaborative and committed work ethic.
