Job Summary:

The United Nations Childrens Fund(UNICEF) the worlds leading organization working for the rihgt sof children is seking to hire HIV/AIDS Manager.  The incumbent is responsible for the development, planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of HIV PPTCT and Paediatric component of the Children and AIDS, a component of the sectoral Programme.

Qualification and Experience:

• Masters degree in Social Sciences or a related technical field.  Eight years progressively responsible professional work experience in the field of HIV PPTCT and Paediatric AIDS at the national and international levels in programme planning, management, monitoring & evaluation in a related field. 
• Current knowledge of the latest developments and technology in the field.
• Proven ability to conceptualize, develop and teach skills.  Good leadership and teamwork skills.
• Good analytical, negotiating, communication and advocacy skills.  Fluency in English and another UN language required.  Knowledge of the local working language of the duty station is an asset. 
• Good Computer Skills including internet navigation and various office applications.
