Job Description |
|
|
The position works within a successful team to catalyse increased government policy, program and funding commitment to secure deep cuts in the pollution of the Great Barrier Reef. The position develops relationships and works with key agency and industry stakeholders at the state and federal level to support WWF-Australia’s Great Barrier Reef water quality strategy.

|
|
|
Skills:
- Experience advocating to key decision makers and influencing positive commitments in catchment, freshwater or marine pollution management
- Skills and experience working with stakeholders and partners (e.g. government, researchers, NGOs, NRMs, industry) in catchment, freshwater or marine pollution management
- Strong scientific understanding of Great Barrier Reef water quality issues
- Strong analytical, research and problem solving skills
- Track record translating emerging science into policy, program and funding solutions that address strategic catchment, freshwater or marine pollution management issues.
