Job Description |

The Communications department of the Center for Constitutional Rights (CCR) is currently seeking interns to work for 15 to 20 hours a week during Winter/Spring 2012 academic semester with a possible extension. This is an excellent opportunity for people interested in advancing social justice by working in a fast-paced, progressive legal advocacy organization. Communications Interns will assist in:
- Media monitoring and archiving of press clips;
- Updating and maintaining media lists;
- Social media and social networking;
- Administrative support for staff; and
- Other internship tasks as needed.

Qualifications:
CCR is looking for interns who possess:
- A demonstrated commitment to social justice and social change;
- Initiative and the ability to work quickly on a deadline;
- Strong multitasking, organizational and self-management skills;
- The ability and willingness to learn and absorb new information quickly;
- Excellent Internet and other research skills; and
- Proficiency and/or familiarity with MS Office Suite programs
- Spanish or other non-English language skills a plus.
