Job Description |
|
|
- Monitors field security in liaison with field staff and security specialists, supporting the Director, International Programs to manage on-going risks. Provides human resource management support for International Program operations including the recruitment of international field and relevant head office staff.
- Co-ordinate and implement logistical requirements including field staff visa applications, arranging flights, providing organization registration documents and ensuring insurance coverage as required.
- Develops budgets, provides financial analysis, distributes cost allocations and assists with other financial management support as required. Contributes to report writing for headquarters, donors and partners as well as supporting evaluation processes, where relevant.
- Leads the logistical and security components of project design, planning and budgeting of funding proposals. Drafts contracts, agreements and manages relationships with international or network bodies as required. Provides operational, logistical and security support during the establishment of new country programs when required.
Support other WCC activities and staff to ensure a well-functioning team and a coherent approach to activities
- Any other tasks as assigned by International Program Director or WCC Senior Management.

Qualifications:
- Degree in management, business, international development or related subject. Advance degree preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills with an ability to prioritize, work under pressure and manage multiple time-sensitive priorities.
- Experience in providing operational or logistical support, ideally within an international NGO.
- Experience of developing and implementing standard operating procedures. Experience of administrative work, project and financial management.
- Experience in developing, monitoring and reviewing security systems and procedures.
- Experience of writing proposals and reports. Proficient in the use of MS Office. Excellent written and spoken English. French and/or Spanish is an asset. Experience of working overseas in difficult operating environments is an asset.
- Excellent interpersonal skills. Diplomacy and negotiation skills.
- Ability to use initiative and work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work well with a team. Willingness and ability to travel to insecure environments and to comply with security protocols.
