Job Description |
|
|
- Contribute to the fine mapping of the major QTLs for grain yield under lowland drought
- Contribute to the introgression of the identified regions in the popular high yielding but drought susceptible varieties
- Write scientific reports, manuscripts for publication and contribute to the dissemination of research results
- Collaborate with drought research team at IRRI and international and NARES partners.

Qualifications:
- PhD in plant breeding, biotechnology or related fields
- Practical experience in QTLs fine mapping and introgression
- Fluent in written and oral English
- Working experience in QTLs identification for grain yield under drought/QTLs for grain yield, introgression of QTLs
- Strong organizational skills and a good publication record
- Proven ability to perform in a multidisciplinary and multicultural environment.
