Job Description |
|
|
- Support the day to day operations of the Director, International Development Programs office and provide administrative support to the department team members including: filing, tracking documents for approval, preparing expense claims, arranging travel and related documents; arranging meeting times and locations; composing transcripts or reports;
- Prepares and compiles material for meetings; attends meetings, takes minutes, and prepares action sheets to track items delegated.
- Organizes and maintains background resource materials for Development Programs.
- Assists with preparation and provision of development program information for internal purposes (management, public affairs, finance, fundraising, other CRC Zones) as well as external requests.
- In conjunction with the Program Officer, Development, researches, proofreads and formats narrative material including: project proposals; reports; briefing packages; terms of reference for project personnel and consultants; and Memoranda of Understanding (MoU’s) with project partners.
- Provide program support to the team in the preparation and processing of program proposals, reports, and assessments; including compiling and maintaining background resource materials;

Qualifications:
- University degree in International Relations, Political Science or a related field with 3-5 years of related work experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience;
- Strong analytical capacity and demonstrated ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing, particularly in program proposals, reports and public materials;
- Strong written and verbal communications skills in English are essential. Fluency in French and Spanish is a definite asset;
- Knowledge of standard office procedures and strong computer skills.
- A strong interest in the area of humanitarian work required.
