Job Description |

|
As a Program Manager, under the Agriculture and Environment program area, you will be responsible for the overall management of the above programs by leading the coordination and development of a portfolio of projects valued at approximately $20 million annually. You also will provide intelligence and guidance to your team and Senior Management on the evolution of the Climate Change and the Environmental Economics domains and develop strategic partnerships with the international research for development community. |

Qualifications:
- PhD and a record of applied research relevant to international development and of publication related to Climate Change research in developing regions.
- leading and managing research projects, multidisciplinary teams and establishing and building partnerships in the Climate Change and the Environmental Economics domains communicating research and research results to different audiences including the Canadian and international research and development community.
- linking research results to policy in developing regions
- working in developing regions.
- Bilingual position (English/French) at an intermediate level as a minimum.
- Strong knowledge of Climate Change and Adaptation issues and research factors of developing regions
- Understanding of major research trends in the Environmental Economics domain
- Knowledge of working relationships with partners from the public and private sectors
- Understanding of policy research methods and approaches.
