Job Description |
|
|
- Backstop the Programme Officers with technical inputs
- Liaison with theState AIDS Control Societies (SACS) and obtain information and reports from SACS as may be required from time to time
- Liaison with officials of RHC Division of NRHM and UNICEF
- Facilitate technical resources to the partners from time to time
- Monitor implementation of PPTCT programme with regard to key indicators and prepare state wise monthly performance reports
- Assist in preparing the scale up plan for PPTCT services to the level of CHCs, 24 hrs PHCs and Private Sector Health Institutions and also monitor its implementation
- Facilitate operation research for PPTCT services in the country
- Assist in monitoring of GFATM Round 2 RCC project and assist in preparation of progress reports and disbursement requests
- Assist in preparing replies to Parliament Questions, REPORTS TO VARIOUS Parliamentary Committees as well as reports to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, etc
- Assist in the development of technical and operational guidelines for the roll out of more efficacious regimen in the PPTCT programme
- Assist in the preparation of the comprehensive report on the programme status on a quarterly basis Make supervisory visits to the states in order to ensure smooth and co-ordinated functioning of PPTCT services
- Any other work assigned by the Controlling Officer.

Qualifications:
- MBBS or MSW.
- MD (Preventive or Social Medicine) or MPH or Post Graduate Diploma in Health Management.
- Preference will be given to candidates having experience in National/ State Level in programme development, monitoring and implementation of HIV/AIDS programmes or any other national health programme including experience in field based implementation, or MD (Preventive or Social Medicine) or MPH.
- One year of experience in National/ State Level in programme development, monitoring and implementation of HIV/AIDS programmes or any other national health programme including experience in field based implementation or preference will be given to candidates who possess MPH or Post Graduate Diploma in Health Management.
