• Contribute to overall program development processes in Oxfam India, especially programs / projects focusing on issues related to Economic Justice.
  
• Identify new partners and projects in line with the overall strategic direction of Oxfam India in West India
  
• Provide strategic inputs to develop advocacy strategies within programs / projects.
  Support partner organisations in drawing up project concept notes, proposals and budgets.
  
• Technical appraisal of project proposals and budgets and management of documentation involved in approval of projects (e.g. contracts).
  
• Develop project implementation plans and monitor projects at all stages.
  
• Make regular monitoring visits to partner organisations and project implementation sites to review progress of work and provide strategic inputs.
  
• Draw up and implement partner capacity enhancement plans in a consultative manner.
  
• Facilitate setting up of systems and procedures for better management of partner organisations, especially for monitoring and reporting.

Qualifications & Experience :

• University degree, preferably in agriculture / environmental studies / forestry / social sciences or similar disciplines.
  
• At least 3 years in a similar job.
  
• In-depth knowledge of development issues and socio-economic and political context in India.
  
• In-depth knowledge of issues and latest trends in economic justice.
  
• Knowledge and experience in project cycle management.
  
• Knowledge and skills in financial administration and analysis.
  
• High levels of result orientation.
  
• Skills in planning, management and organisation.
  
• Skills in communication and interpersonal relations.
