• Develop M&E Plan and guide States in development of M&E Plans for fulfilling the NACP-III targets.
  
• Designing and implementation of programme monitoring system for NACP-III
  
• Improve the quality of data and promote information use for decision making.
  
• Develop and implement the capacity building plans of SIMU at all levels.
  
• Coordinate Projects on Strategic Information Management System (SIMS) and Smart Card System.
  
• Any other work assigned by the Senior Officers from time to time.

Qualifications:

• Post Graduate in the field of Demography/ Statistics/Bio-Statistics or other related field.
  
• Advance course in computer application from an institute of repute
  
• Minimum 8 yrs experience in the field of Health/ Social development with 6 years in the field of M&E, Development/ Maintenance of MIS, Training etc. Experience may be relaxed at the discretion of Secretary& DG, NACO in deserving cases with relevant experience in M&E for HIV/AIDS Control.
  
• Knowledge of statistical analysis and report writing
  
• Past experience of working in HIV/AIDS programme or projects under government or bilateral/ multi-lateral agencies in India.
