Job Description |
|
|
- Working in close coordination with the direct and indirect user groups, principal architect and the project architect during the entire design phases starting from conceptual plan to construction document stages;
- Preparing and/or finalizing the construction work schedules, monitoring the progress of work, anticipating delays, if any, and taking corrective measures well in time;
- Preparing and negotiating contracts for consultants/ contractors;
- Finalizing (and updating) owner furnished material (OFM) procurement schedule, monitoring, setting-up and executing protocol for OFM delivery to the contractors;
- Coordinating with other FMIC departments for smooth and timely project implementation up to contract closure including working closely with commissioning and operational groups;
- Reporting progress regularly to Project Monitoring Team and prepare material for periodic progress reports;
- Monitoring and forecasting project costs and taking corrective actions when necessary;
- Ensuring implementation of all quality control measures devised for construction execution;
- Working closely with the Maintenance Department targeting for zero defect lists and smooth handling over of the facility to the user.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering from a reputable university with PMP certification;
- Minimum 7 years of experience demonstrating progressive project management.
- Experience in managing large multi-million dollar building project is essential. Work exposure of a hospital construction project is preferable;
- Excellent management, leadership and team building skills;
- Adaptability and ability to work in a difficult environment.
