Job Description |
|
|
- Socio-economic and ecological assessment (including baseline data collection) of the project area and surrounding forests
- Rolling out various interventions for securing and restoration of wildlife corridors as per the approved work plan
- Liasioning & coordination with the stakeholders and line agencies
- Monitoring impact of local communities on wildlife conservation; improving socio economic conditions of the local communities and garnering their support for wildlife conservation in the corridors between Kaziranga National Park and Karbi Anglong Forests
- Coordinating with all stakeholders for identifying the critical needs to secure the wildlife corridors as mentioned above and work with the landscape team to achieve the goal.

Qualifications:
- Post Graduate or its equivalent in Bio Science (Zoology/ Botany/ Ecology/ Wildlife Biology)
- At least 4 years of Field experience with wildlife conservation projects, including wildlife population monitoring, habitat assessment and experience in working with local communities, preferably in North East India.
- Working knowledge of Assamese and Hindi.
