Job Description |
|
|
|
The Project Officer, Strategic Information, works within the Strategic Information Team of the PIE Unit, collaborating closely with teams from across the Secretariat.
Working closely with various teams in the Secretariat, the project Officer, Strategic Information, will:
- Conduct analyses to inform enhancement of the Strategic Investments and grant managements and reviews;
- Develop and maintain business information hubs for various users;
Maintain the corporate slide depository and coordinate updating core slide sets;
- Contribute to the analysis of performance against the Key Performance Indicators on a routine basis and definition and monitoring of corrective actions, aimed at improving corporate performance towards impact;
- Contribute to the preparation of quarterly reports on corporate performance to the Executive Management Team (EMT), and mid-year and year-end reports to the Boards of the Global Fund and relevant committees;
- Work as part of the team to analyse the performance of Global Fund grants and across the portfolio for effective management;
- Work as part of a team to analyse core Global Fund data derived from Global Fund proposals, grants and reported results, as well as a variety of external data sources;
- Support the integration of KPIs in the ‘day to day’ operations and management of the Global Fund.

Qualifications:
- University degree in Public Health, Statistics, Economics, Management, Business Administration or other relevant discipline.
- 2-3 years of progressive professional experience
- Experience in conducting data analyses and using evidence to influence decision making.
- Experience in corporate performance management
- Experience in information management
- Familiarity with Performance Based Funding and the Global Fund Business Model.
- An excellent knowledge of English and preferably a good working knowledge of French or one of the following: Arabic, Chinese, Russian, and Spanish. Knowledge of other languages an asset.
