Job Description |
|
|
- Part of the North American natural gas team reporting to head of North American natural gas analysis.
- Design and build web-based analysis tools for the North American natural gas markets.
- Development and maintenance of models based on fundamental data.
- Development of the gas market service products.
- Daily market commentary/analysis, including customer contact and discussion.
- Participate in sales and marketing.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Advanced degree (MS, MBA, PhD) in mathematics, statistics or economics Strong academic records.
- Minimum of 1-2 years experience in research, analysis or trading in the US energy markets (natural gas markets preferred).
- Outstanding analytical skills.
- Excellent fundamental analysis skills especially drivers of price formation and direction, supply & demand.
- Familiarity with traded energy markets is an advantage.
- Good working knowledge of analytical tools such as GAMS, Matlab, R, SPSS, SAS, etc. would be advantageous.
- Technical skills in application usage/development involving Oracle/SQL, Java, Python highly advantageous.
