• Support the development of policy and strategies for ADB s developmental goals for the private sector and PPP in consultation with relevant stakeholders.
  
• Provide support to country teams and missions for planning and programming purposes with particular focus on PPPs. private sector development and operations and for the identification of PPP investment opportunities in assigned DMCs.
  
• Contribute to the development of a pipeline of private sector finance projects with a focus on PPPs.
  
• Together with the other specialists assigned to the PSOC Advisory and Technical Support Unit, serve as the focal point for other divisions/departments on private sector and PPPs.
  
• Contribute information on PPP and analyses for economic and sector work and interdepartmental working groups.
  
• Provide guidance, comment and advice to promote and develop PPP projects and for designing financing arrangements, including structured financing in project design.
  
• Lead and/or support the identification, development and processing of projects to be considered for PPP financing, undertaking the needed due diligence, risk analysis and mitigation work towards the structuring of loans, equity investment, guarantees or other forms of assistance.

Qualifications:

• A  university degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related fields; preferably at post-graduate degree or its equivalent in business administration from a leading graduate school of business.
  
• Suitability to undertake the responsibilities mentioned above at the required level.
  
• At least 10 years of relevant professional experience in the private sector, including hands-on experience in PPPs, structuring and processing private sector loans, equity investments and guarantees for infrastructure projects, analyzing credit risks, equity valuation, syndication and related banking activities.
  
• Experience in private sector development policy, strategy, programs, projects, and activities is preferred.
  
• International experience working in development in several countries.
