Job Description |
|
|
- Preparation, submission, and negotiation of federal, non-federal, and international grants, cooperative agreements, subawards, service agreements and modifications thereto.
- Development and maintenance of acquisition and assistance templates/formats and other guidance for use by program staff.
- Analyze grant and agreement requirements, special provisions, terms and conditions to ensure compliance with appropriate laws, regulations, corporate policies and procedures.
- In concert with the contracts and grants staff, review, improve and develop policies and procedures for the Contracts, Grants, and Procurement unit.
- Provide training and guidance to both headquarters and field staff in donor rules and regulations.
- Provide technical assistance to staff in implementing and complying with administrative procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and minimize risk exposure to the organization.

Qualifications & Experience :
- Must have a Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or business, Advance degree preferred.
- Eight to ten years of directly related cradle-to-grave cooperative agreement, grants, and contractual work experience.
- Must have USAID and /or CDC experience working in an international grant environment.
- Proven expert knowledge in federal grant regulations, OMB circulars, other US grant regulations and applicable international laws.
- Demonstrated experience to supervise, mentor, and develop entry to mid-level grant and contractual professionals.
- Highly skilled in oral presentation and written communication.
