• Provide policy advice and technical support to senior management on resource mobilization issues for the UNISDR secretariat.
  
• Direct and oversee work-programming process and internal monitoring systems of UNISDR.
  
• Direct the work-programming process and internal monitoring systems and budget of UNISDR, including budget analysis and progress reporting.
  
• Oversee activities related to project preparation, submission of proposals for resource mobilization and ensuring effective follow-up and reporting to donors as is required.
  
• Direct and oversee the external evaluation strategy and monitoring of UNISDR and ISDR partnerships.
  
• Provide policy advice and technical support to senior management on evaluation issues.
  
• Establish mechanisms to monitor the organizational evaluation requirements and plan for periodic external evaluations.
  
• Coordinate internal efforts to develop a system for tracking of investment in disaster risk reduction.

Qualifications :

• Advanced university degree (Master’s degree or equivalent) in business or public administration, finance, international relations, environmental, economics, law or related area.
  
• A first-level university degree in combination with qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree.

Experience :

• A minimum of ten years of progressively responsible experience in program management and development, resource mobilization, donor relations, design and development of reporting systems, development and maintenance of communications and evaluation or related field.
