• Design - Baseline analysis of recycling and composting abilities of the client organization (external and internal considerations) - Working with the Waste Ventures venture lead and waste picker senior management to create the technical aspects of a 3 – 5 year strategic business plan.
  
• Create policies, procedures, and positions within a waste picker corporation to store, handle, recycle, compost, generate energy, and earn emission reduction credits.
  Help train staff to follow the policies and procedures.
  
• Create capital and operation expenditure needs and revenue sources for business plan and capital requirement work Manage.
  
• Ensure that project schedules and budgets are achieved as well as the technical accuracy of work product.
  
• Work with the marketing team on the technical specifications of the produced compost.
  
• Ensure general implementation of strategic plan and pairing of responsibilities to appropriate technical staff in waste picker corporation.
  
• Facilitate the process to earn emission reduction credit and generate energy Monitor.
  
• Perform QA/QC of projects, provide recommendations, and/or directions to correct and/or improve any deficiencies found.
  
• Review design and specifications and monitor the construction of compost plants and materials recycling facility.
  
• Ensure operations comply with local waste regulations and international good practice In addition, as you will be one of the first several employees, you will have the opportunity to simultaneously build Waste Ventures itself.
  
• Tasks:Represent Waste Ventures in front of government officials to encourage for solid waste management reform at the municipal, state, and federal level - Capture and disseminate knowledge on building high performing waste picker corporations for broader consumption.
  
• Assist in Waste Ventures fundraising efforts,due diligence on new clients, and general administration.

Qualifications :

• Demonstrated work experience in all aspects of solid waste management, including project management, permitting, design, construction oversight.
  
• Diversity of experience in both developed and developing countries (particularly India) is a strong plus.
  
• Familiarity with CDM and VER markets is a strong plus as is prior consulting and/or finance work.
  
• Academic Background: Bachelors in Civil/Environmental Engineering,Masters preferred.
  
• Licensed Engineer preferred. Geotechnical experience is preferred.
