• Engage volunteers on issues of Greenpeace with special focus on youth.
  
• Responsible for Implementation of PE strategies in cities which do not have a dedicated PE campaigner.
  
• Be the point person on campaign issues with volunteers
  
• Articulate and provide media sound bytes on campaign issues/projects.
  
• Co-ordinates converting campaign content into locally usable material.
  
• Recruitment and coordination of volunteers for public engagement activities.
  
• Identifying local opportunities in cities that have relevance to GP Public activity.

Qualifications:

• Able to transform creative ideas into practical reality.
  
• Can look at existing situations and problems in novel ways and come up with creative solutions.
  
• Capable of logically thinking and planning taking into account all the relevant issues and factors such as deadlines, staffing and resources.
  
• Should also have basic computer knowledge to organise work.
  
• Communication - Able to communicate in local language apart from English and Hindi. Comfortable in addressing large groups. If needed to be capable of articulating the PE activity to media.
