• Recruit, coordinate and engage Greenpeace volunteers for public engagement activities.
  
• Train volunteers based on the values of the organization.
  Identifying local opportunities in cities that have relevance to Greenpeace public activities and develop a calendar of public engagement activities in consultation with line manager.
  
• Train and motivate volunteer groups to represent Greenpeace at different social platforms.
  
• Actively participate in public speaking engagements and respond to media queries etc. according to the needs of the campaign program.
  
• Maintain volunteer database and succinctly communicate information of all ongoing campaigns to the volunteers.

Qualifications :

• Able to transform creative ideas into practical reality.
  
• To logically think and plan activities taking into account all the relevant factors such as deadlines, staffing and resources.
  
• To lead and address large groups and media persons effectively.
  
• Ability to communicate in local language apart from English and Hindi.
  
• To build and maintain effective working relationships with the volunteers and Greenpeace partners in multiple cities.
  
• To manage personal effectiveness in situations of pressure, set backs etc. with commitment, motivation and energy.
