• The document should be page numbered and appropriately flagged and must contain the list of contents with page numbers. Different copies must be bound separately.
  
• Any deficiency in the documentation may result in the rejection of the Bid.
  
• In case of any discrepancy observed by the Department of Rural Development in the contents of the submitted original paper EOI documents with respective copies, the information furnished on original paper EOI document will prevail over others.
  
• Telex/Telegraphic/Tele-fax bids will not be considered. All out-station bids, if sent by post, should be sent under registered cover.
  
• If the outer envelope is not sealed and marked as indicated above, the Department of Rural Development will assume no responsibility for the bid’s misplacement or premature opening.

Qualifications :

• The firm/ company should be a Company registered under the Indian Companies Act, 1956 OR should be a partnership firm engaged in the consulting business and who have their registered offices in India and should have been in existence for a period of at least 5 years as on 31st March 2010.
  
• It should also be registered with the Service Tax Authorities, and should be registered with the appropriate authorities for all applicable statutory taxes/duties, and should have been in operation for the last five years.
  
• Certificate of Incorporation / Any other relevant document.
  
• The bidder would undertake not to sub-contract / outsource any part of the work without permission from the Tenderer.
