The Department of Consumer Affairs is organizing a Logo Design Competition on Right to Repair through Repairability Index in collaboration with MyGov to crowdsource creative ideas from citizens across the nation.
The logo design competition represents a creative call to action for individuals across India to contribute to a meaningful national initiative. Through the Repairability Index Framework, the Department of Consumer Affairs aims to strengthen consumer rights, promote product longevity, and reduce electronic waste.
A key highlight of this initiative is the development of a distinctive logo that embodies the essence of repairability and circular economy. The logo will act as a visible certification mark, helping consumers easily recognize products that support sustainable and repair-friendly practices.
The winning entry, selected by an official committee, will receive a cash prize of ₹25,000 and may be adopted as the official logo of the Repairability Index Framework.
Participants are encouraged to submit original and conceptually strong designs that capture the spirit of responsible consumption and consumer empowerment. Each submission should include a concise concept note explaining the idea and symbolism behind the design.
