My Clean City
HCLFoundation, under the aegis of its flagship programme My Clean City, embarked on an ambitious journey in 2019 to improve and strengthen the process of solid waste management in urban spaces.
My Clean City aims to transform the cities into a litter and waste free region, covering all Residential Welfare Associations, Urban Villages, and Markets. The major focus areas of the programme are capacity building of relevant stakeholders, awareness creation, intensive behavior change and deployment of technological solutions. The programme is currently active in Noida and Greater Noida.

Purpose of the RFP
HCLFoundation invites proposals from organizations that have been working in the domain of solid and liquid waste management, preferably experienced with communication and behaviour change campaigns through citizen engagement. This project will focus on underscoring unwanted Garbage Vulnerable points and Legacy waste within the community and citizen engagement as integral components of Solid Waste Management that can help to transform Noida and Greater Noida into clean hotspots.
Background
With increasing population and urbanization, there has been a tremendous rise in the generation of municipal solid waste in India.
Consumers are the ultimate waste generators. Thus, engaging them in waste management drives can lead to more responsible consumption, better implementation of waste segregation and collection schemes, and increased reuse and recycling of products.
Geography
The geography of operation for the project will be the same as My Clean City programme i.e. Noida and Greater Noida.
Objectives of the Project
This RFP seeks a strategic partner who can carry out a holistic project on-ground of efficient and contactless removal of legacy waste and garbage from identified vulnerable points in Noida and Greater Noida.
Promote a cleaner environment by discouraging illegal dumping and improper waste disposal.
Increase awareness and engagement among residents about proper waste management practices.
Tenure
The selected partner will work with HCLFoundation for a period of 12 months to implement the project.
Who Can Apply
Not-for-Profit organizations with valid 12 A & 80 G certificates.
The organization should have prior expertise in the thematic area of the work.
