Presentation of the Red Cross

With 69 projects in 22 countries of intervention, in the same way as in the trades it develops and implements in France, the French Red Cross (CRF) abroad places all of its missions in an action plan humanitarian aid. This translates into an articulation of emergency, post-emergency, crisis exit and reconstruction activities aimed at improving efficiency. The post

Under the authority of the Head of Delegation and in close contact with the Administrative and Financial Coordinator as well as the Logistics Coordinator based in N'Djamena, the Base Chief of the Ati base is responsible for coordinating the administrative, HR and financial monitoring of the programs implemented by the FIU in this region, ensuring the proper functioning of the base and ensuring its security aspects and security.

Responsibilities :

Database management:

  • Is responsible for aspects related to safety and security in the Batha region and compliance with internal rules and procedures
  • Is responsible for the proper functioning of the base

Admin / End / HR:

  • Supervise the accounting and financial monitoring of projects
  • Ensure the treasury of the base;
  • Contribute to project budget planning:
  • Ensure the human resources management of the sub-delegation
  • Support the training policy of the sub-delegation
  • Ensure Admin / Fin / RH reporting
  • Ensure administrative coordination / Supervise teams


  • Supervise purchases of goods, services and works
  • Supervise the maintenance and management of the vehicle fleet
  • Oversee inventory management
  • Supervise transport
  • Supervise equipment monitoring
  • Ensure the logistical reporting of the base
  • Ensure logistics coordination / Supervise teams

Profile of the candidate


  • Higher education in accounting and financial management, business school or equivalent
  • Logistics training


  • Fluent French
  • English would be a plus
  • Arabic would be an asset

Essential skills and experiences:

  • Indispensable professional experience of at least 3 years in a position requiring high versatility, preferably in a humanitarian context
  • Solid experience in administrative, financial and essential human resources management
  • Solid experience in logistics management essential
  • Significant experience in multidisciplinary and multicultural team coordination
  • Indispensable experience of working in collaboration with a partner, diplomacy and negotiation skills
  • Knowledge of EU donor procedures (ECHO, EuropeAid), UN (UNICEF, WFP), AFD, Swiss Cooperation
  • Excellent computer skills (complete autonomy in Word and Excel).
