The Communication Section, UNICEF Thailand Country Office is seeking a Communication Consultant (Media Engagement) who will be responsible for developing targeted media and communication assets such as stories, interviews, media pitches, and driving media engagement for key priorities in this 2025-2026 media plan. This includes delivering on new advocacy priorities and public campaigns such as healthy living and climate change. The consultant will also work on monitoring the media engagements on these fronts.

Qualification and experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in journalism, communications or a related field, preferred.
Minimum of 6-year progressive experience in journalism, PR, communication, or other related field
Fluency in written and verbal English and Thai. Great writing skills in English and Thai, with skills and experience.
Demonstrated skills and experience in media outreach and engagement. A history of working with media outlets, PR agency is a plus.
Strong network with media contacts and journalism professionals.
Strong knowledge of the media professional landscape in Thailand.
A history of working with UN/UNICEF is a plus.
Demonstrated ability to work in a multicultural environment and establish harmonious and effective working relationships.
