Job Description

The position of program communication manager based in Lyon or Brussels must take into account these various parameters:

  • a position at the service of the collection and communication teams of the national associations
  • a mobile station which leads to fetching information on the areas of intervention while taking into account the requests of internal customers.

DESCRIPTION:

Main objectives for 2021:

  • Relaunch of research missions to collect testimonials, launch of support for digital marketing,
  • Development of specific digital productions,
  • Development of content productions on West African projects.

Under the management of the federal communications manager, your responsibilities will be as follows:

Identification of subjects for fundraising and communication

  • Collaboration with field teams for the identification of projects and beneficiaries
  • Collection of information, photos, videos, remotely or during field trips, for the benefit of the HI network
  • Contributions to digital marketing projects
  • Specific contribution to the development of video / snack content projects…

Provision of information to the various national associations

  • Contribution to the editorial calendar (planning of subjects, anticipation…) and the production of content for the benefit of the HI network
  • Contribution to content dissemination tools (photo / video database, etc.) -
  • Program information research, provision of information collected

Collection and formatting of information related to programs, including emergencies

  • Writing of points of situation / press kits, on subjects of interest to all national associations (mainly emergencies)
  • Contributions to press relations projects, interviews, press visits

Participation in transversal links between the Programs and the Communication and Collection Department

  • Participation in the reception and briefings of DPs (in terms of institutional communication and internal communication), emergency preparedness on the communication / collection component
  • Support-advice on national or regional communication initiatives

Support for programs in defining their institutional and professional identity

  • One-off support for the development of program communication tools
  • Promotion of the brand and communication rules (GDPR, consents, safeguarding, ethics, etc.).

PROFILE:

  • Higher education in communication, journalism, press relations
  • Experience of at least 5 years in the external communication sector
  • Ability to project oneself on degraded land (conflicts, natural disasters…)
  • Experience in the field of international solidarity desirable,
  • Very good writing skills (profile, journalist type)
  • Ability to adapt, flexibility and reactivity
  • Resistance to pressure, ability to prioritize tasks between different requests and to work quickly to produce the essential
  • Excellent level of English (writing, and oral), good level of French.
