Data Warehouse Consultant

The Data Warehouse Consultant will work closely with IT and Finance teams to streamline business processes, propose data-driven solutions, and ensure compliance with organizational standards and reporting requirements. The role also includes training, documentation, and coordination with business owners (MTBF) to align technical solutions with strategic financial goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct impact analysis for Finance and Budget data requirements.
  • Design and document conceptual, logical, and physical data models for the Data Warehouse.
  • Develop ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from Oracle EBS and other sources.
  • Remediate and optimize existing reports to align with updated data structures.
  • Perform system, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Create Business Intelligence (BI) dashboards. 
  • Create metadata subject areas to support ad-hoc reporting and BI artifacts.
  • Deliver training sessions and prepare technical documentation for end users and support teams.
  • Collaborate with Finance stakeholders to ensure data accuracy and usability for internal and external reporting.
  • Support process improvement initiatives by proposing automated and scalable data solutions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree - University degree in information technology, management, computer sciences or related fields.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence, or related fields.
  • Proven experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) R12.2, particularly in Finance and Budget modules (e.g., AP, AR, GL, PO, Projects, Budgeting).
  • Strong understanding of Oracle EBS 12.2 data structures and integration points.
  • Hands-on experience with ETL tools (e.g., Oracle Data Integrator, Informatica, or equivalent).
  • Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and performance tuning.
  • Experience designing and developing dashboards and reports using Power BI and/or Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC).
  • Familiarity with data governance, metadata management, and data quality practices.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders.
