Human Rights Watch (HRW) is seeking an intern for the Stockholm office, assisting the Development & Outreach and Advocacy Departments. The internship is full-time (35 hours per week) and will be for 20 weeks, starting in early September 2025. The internship is unpaid, and interns must be enrolled university students for the full duration of the internship.
This internship suits those who are interested in developing their experience within a global human rights organization, within a national country office. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to participate in a wide range of activities related to human rights and learn how the organization operates through communication, advocacy, fundraising, outreach and events. HRW interns have unique opportunities to attend lectures, trainings, professional development workshops, special events relating to human rights, and network with other HRW interns, volunteers, and employees. As an HRW intern, you will be able to use the skills and knowledge you have acquired during your studies and apply these in a professional environment. HRW’s Stockholm team sits at Norrsken House, located in central Stockholm.
