Job Description

Job objective:

Coordinate the management and well-being of staff according to World Vision's partnership standards and in accordance with the country's labor laws .

Major responsibilities

  • Coordinate, guide and monitor annual performance reviews and also annual employee performance agreements
  • Prepare salary payment statements, separation fees and other benefits for all staff
  • Ensure the accuracy of personnel data in the "Ourpeople" IT management system and ensure that they are updated
  • Provide technical support for recruitment, transfer and disciplinary matters
  • Coordinate and facilitate the administration of staff leave and various allowances, the production of health insurance documents
  • Prepare and compile staff training needs based on performance assessment results
  • Facilitate and coordinate social relations between World Vision and other social and labor institutions (CNSS, ANPE, Labor Inspectorate ...)
  • Produce and disseminate timely information on staff well-being
  • Ensure the implementation and enforcement of labor law policies and procedures and international procedures of the organization

Training and Experience

  • Required minimum level of education: Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or Legal Science
  • Experience: 2 years experience in Human Resources management preferably in an international NGO
  • Preferred: Master's degree in human resources or legal sciences

Knowledge, skills and competences

  • Knowledge of Niger's labor legislation and regulations
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in French and practical knowledge of English

Excellent computer skills

  • Good planning and organization skills, listening, consulting and confidentiality
  • Ability to maintain effective working relationships with all staff
  • Ability to analyze, adapt and work under pressure
  • Sense of organization, rigor and autonomy
