Major Tasks:

  • Enhance Data for Action Platform Implementation for R2 and R3 for the Polio SIA including Capacity Building Support for Users.
  • Collaborate with DOH and WHO on Data Collection, Analysis and Visualization using Data4Action and other Platforms.
  • Develop M and E Framework for Immunization in Project Sites.
  • Lead in Updating of the List of High Risk Puroks and other Project Indicators in the Project Areas/Regions.
  • Lead in the Development of an Improved EPI Data Management System that can be used at the Community Level (improved Electronic Target Client List).
  • Lead in the Capacity Building of all End Users of the Developed Community Based EPI Data Management System.
  • Work Closely with UNICEF Staff and DOH Team in Coming Up with Knowledge Management Products that can be shared with Various Stakeholders.
  • Develop Advocacy Tools and Infographic Materials for Local Chief Executive Executives, DOH and other Stakeholders in Celebration of the World Immunization Week.
  • Provide Technical Assistance to LGU Sites for Data Management, Quality Checks, Analysis, Use of Data for Action and Troubleshooting of any Technical Issues in the Database.
  • Monitor Use of eTCL and Identify Issues and Concerns and Recommend Appropriate Actions.
  • Collect all Data Pertinent for the EPI Program.
  • Assessment of Use of eTCL and Provide Documentation.

Qualifications and Competencies of Successful Consultant:

  • University Degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Public Health, Computer Programming or any other relevant field.
  • At least Three Years Technical Experience in Health Data Management Preferably EPI
  • Experience in Health Information Systems Design and Implementation
  • Work experience with Local Government Units is preferred
  • Work experience in UN agencies highly desirable.
  • With strong analytical and presentation (oral and written) skills including use of essential computer software packages.
  • Excellent coordination and communication skills.
