The Department of Safeguards carries out the IAEA's duties and responsibilities as the world's nuclear inspectorate, supporting global efforts to stop the spread of nuclear weapons.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the design, development, and updating of training materials for inspectors and staff.
Liaise with internal staff and Member State representatives to support training activities.
Support the creation of course content, presentations, and learning aids.
Conduct research on training needs, best practices, and methodologies.
Record and summarize findings to support program improvement and reporting.
Requirements:
University degree in social sciences, education, or related field.
A certificate in adult education, instructional design, or a related field is an asset.
Demonstrated experience in the use of the Systematic Approach to Training or other adult training methodologies and familiarity with blended learning software such as Articulate is an asset
Previous experience organizing or assisting with the implementation of training activities is an asset
Knowledge of best practices and approaches for creating course content, presentations, and job aids.
Previous experience reviewing training data and summarizing findings to support improvements is an asset.
