Overall purpose of the role:
DRC is looking for MEAL volunteer who will conduct data collection activities (in person/over the phone) for a number of questionnaires and surveys across different projects.
The individual will report directly to the MEAL Manager. Your main duties and responsibilities will be:
Conduct data collection activities (in person/over the phone) for the MEAL activities as specified by the supervisor.
Check completed work for accuracy and consistency, and ensure data quality of the data collected.
Ensure and comply with data protection practices and the confidentiality of all information.
Provide regular updates to the MEAL specialist based on the data collection plan.
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in relevant area (e.g. International Relations, Development Studies, social sciences) or a combination of a business related university degree and additional relevant experience.
Well knowledge of MS utilities (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
Experience in conducting data collection and remote interviews.
