The role will also involve consolidating lists and relevant datasets provided by PDMMs, particularly those eligible for cash assistance, and transmitting them to UNHCR through designated systems or platforms. Additionally, the Project Associates will contribute to the implementation of relevant legislation, participate in reporting, research, and meetings, and ensure effective documentation and data archiving.

Responsibilities:

  • Hands-on experience with at least one of the statistical analysis software such as SPSS, STATA, R, or Python (pandas, numpy, matplotlib, seaborn, etc.).
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and database management.
  • Advanced English language skills (reading, writing, and speaking).
  • Ability to work with large datasets and proficiency in data cleaning processes.
  • Strong reporting and presentation skills; advanced analytical thinking ability.
  • Team-oriented, sensitive to human rights and migration issues.
  • Preferably experienced in migration, demography, field research, or social projects.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build positive relationships.
  • Patient, eager to learn, and support-oriented.
  • Effective listening and evaluation skills.
  • Willing and able to travel within Türkiye.

Requirements:

  • It is highly preferred that the individual contractor to have at least a bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Econometrics, Mathematics, Actuarial Sciences, or other relevant quantitative fields.
  • A master’s degree in a related area is preferred.
  • 3 years relevant experience with High School Diploma.
  • 2 years relevant work experience with Bachelor's or equivalent or higher, in the field of statistics, data analysis, or quantitative research, preferably within public institutions, international organizations, or NGOs.
