The Business Computing (FAP-BC) group, within the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN), is responsible for developing and maintaining a wide range of support applications essential for the operations of the organization. We are currently seeking a UX/UI Designer to contribute to enhancing the usability of our diverse portfolio of applications.
Responsibilities:
Design wireframes, prototypes, and user interfaces for web-based and mobile applications.
Implement user-centered design principles to create intuitive and visually appealing interfaces.
Develop and maintain UI design patterns and style guides to ensure consistency across applications.
Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to iterate and improve designs.
Work closely with developers to implement designs and ensure design integrity throughout the development process.
Maintain, coordinate, and contribute to the CERN Design System to ensure coherence and reusability across the application landscape.
Requirements:
By the application deadline, you have a maximum of two years of professional experience since graduation in Design, Graphic design (or a related field) and your highest educational qualification is either a Bachelor's or Master's degree.
You have never had a CERN fellow or graduate contract before.
Applicants without University degree are not eligible.
